Eyeglasses and Eyewear are an important part of what we do here at Florence and Tuscumbia Eye Centers. We believe style and quality come first for our patients and we do our best to provide the Eyeglasses that we believe our patients deserve. We have recently added same day service in our Florence office to offer even more options to our patients.
We believe our patients should have choices for eyewear. We stock over 1200 frames in our Florence office and approximately 800 in our Tuscumbia location. Our goal is to provide a wide assortment of frame styles ranging from budget lines to high fashion exclusive designer labels. Our optical shop provides ONLY premium eyeglass lenses from the finest lens manufacturers in the world including Kodak and Varilux. 
We strongly recommend the use of anti-glare lens technology to make your eyeglass lenses practically invisible to enhance the cosmetic appearance of your glasses as well as dramatically reduce the effects of glare and reflections on your lenses. Our opticians will also offer you expert advise on the best choice of eyeglass lens materials to reduce lens thickness and weight.
Transitions photochromic lenses are clear indoors and darken when outdoors when exposed to UV rays. Transitions lenses offer 100% UV protection whether clear or tinted.
Polarized sunglass lenses offer 100% UV protection, brightness protection as well as glare blocking ability. Polarized filtering lenses are highly
recommended for prescription sunglasses used for driving and boating.
